What does “going the extra heat (mile)” mean to you and what motivates you to go the extra heat in your role?

“Going the extra heat” means exceeding expectations to drive efficiency, performance, and customer satisfaction. In my role as a commercial analyst, this involves providing deep market insights and collaborating with the sales team to enhance my experience and knowledge that contributes to business growth.

What’s a challenge you’ve faced recently, and how did you overcome it?

A recent challenge I faced was navigating a task that required knowledge and experience I initially lacked. Rather than feeling overwhelmed, I took a proactive approach by researching industry best practices, seeking guidance from experienced colleagues, and leveraging data to support my analysis.

What do you enjoy most about being part of the Mayerton team?

What I enjoy most about being part of the company is the opportunity to work in a dynamic industry that constantly evolves. I appreciate the collaborative environment, where I can learn from experienced colleagues and contribute meaningful insights that drive business success.

How do you approach keeping up with industry changes and improving your skills?

To improve my skills, I actively seek feedback, take on challenging projects, and use data-driven analysis to refine my approach. By staying proactive and continuously learning, I ensure that I can provide valuable insights and adapt to the evolving needs of the industry.

One aspect of the company culture that resonates with me is the emphasis on collaboration and continuous improvement. The open and supportive environment encourages teamwork, knowledge-sharing, and innovation, which helps me take on challenges with confidence.

What advice would you give to others who want to make a difference in their roles? How do you think your efforts make a difference to our customers or team?

My advice to others who want to make a difference in their roles is to stay proactive, continuously seek learning opportunities, and always look for ways to add value beyond their core responsibilities. Building strong relationships, being adaptable, and thinking critically can help drive meaningful contributions.

What skills or qualities do you bring that you feel enhance our team’s performance?

I bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset that help enhance our team’s performance. And my adaptability and eagerness to learn enable me to quickly adjust to industry changes, ensuring that I contribute effectively to the team’s success.

What’s a memorable piece of advice or experience that shaped how you approach your work?

“There’s a way to do anything” – a memorable piece of advice I received in my career was to never feel limited and to keep trying to find a solution, because there is always a method to do anything. It’s a reminder that persistence and creative problem-solving can open up endless possibilities, no matter how challenging the situation might seem. It must help you approach obstacles with a positive, determined mindset, knowing that solutions are always within reach.
