We were proud to attend the 10th industry Steel Meets Refractory at Salzgitter on March 11–12 a truly valuable event bringing together innovation, collaboration, and industry expertise.

Expertly moderated by Dr. Andus Buhr (Almatis) and Dr. Annika Mertke (Salzgitter), the programme focused on two key themes:
Automation, robotics, and machine learning in ironworks, including applications like slide gate sand addition, casting platform manipulators and other applications.
Fiber insulating materials: Classification, alternatives, applications, and case studies
The event concluded with an impressive tour of the Salzgitter plant!
